What club are you a president of?
German Club.

What inspired you to join German Club?
I have been in German classes for all high school, and I found it very interesting to learn more about German culture rather than being tested over the language itself.

How did you manage to achieve your President title?
Mrs. Rudzinski saw a growth of my interest towards the club throughout my high school career and felt that I had more of a passion towards the club than anyone else.

How do you plan to advertise the club?
Well, I am the social media manager, so I plan on posting a lot more than we have been in the past because if you want to reach out to teenagers it must be through social media.

How do you plan on balancing fun activities and learning German culture?
This year we are doing a different thing; we are going to do German based games rather than fun activities so that we can learn and have fun at the same time.

Do you guys learn German culture just in Germany or in other German speaking countries?
So, this year we do plan on expanding outside of Germany because the culture does exist outside of Germany and even German speaking countries. So, this year we will emphasize that German culture is more than just a country.

What do you plan on doing to keep members coming?
I would first like to get to know them better but also everyone likes snacks so I will probably just bring snacks to every meeting because I’ve noticed that keeps them coming.

Why should someone join German Club?
If someone has any interest in German culture or language, I would definitely recommend the club because it will help you grasp the concept in a fun way rather than being graded on it.

What is one piece of advice that you would give to a new member?
It is okay to join the club if you do not know a single word of German. We made this club to teach kids the language and culture not to grade them on how fluently they speak the language.

Are you a part of any other clubs?
Yeah: DECA, AIM, FCCLA, NHSDA, and a few more.

Do you have any hobbies?
Yeah, I do dance.

How long have you done dance?
14 years.
