Can you tell me a little about yourself?
I’m really into sports, especially track. I like being active because it keeps me focused and gives me something to look forward to after school. I also try my best to do well in all my classes. I wouldn’t say I’m perfect, but I put in the effort because I know grades are important for my future. I like learning about new things, especially anything that challenges me to think differently.

What brought you to Avon, or have you always lived here?
I’ve always lived in Avon. It’s what I know. I’ve grown up here, gone to school here, made my friends here. Living in the same place has helped me feel stable and connected to the people around me.

What motivates you to keep going?
My mom. She works so hard and always makes sure I have what I need. I look at how strong she is, and it makes me want to do my best, not just for me but for her too.

What’s something you want people to know about your story?
I just want people to know that I’m trying. I might not have everything figured out, but I want to do something that lets me earn good money and take care of my family. That’s what keeps me going.
