Avon High School’s football team is coming off of their first win of the season against the
Plainfield Quakers, 44 -13, arguably a result of the grueling training that accompanies football
practice. Many of the players are very excited for upcoming games.
“I think we’re doing much better this year than we were last year,” said senior Connor Barnes.
Barnes mentioned he was especially excited for their game against Ben Davis, one of Avon’s
biggest competitors.
“Ben Davis is a big one,” he said. “It’s going to feel like the biggest
game of the season.”
The Echo caught up with the football team during practice on Tuesday, Aug. 21, where the following photos were taken.
