Avon show choirs commenced their season at Plainfield High School’s Quaker Classic on Saturday, Feb. 9. The all-girls show choir, Attraction, did not qualify for finals, yet they did however place fifth out of the eight unisex show choirs that competed Saturday. On the contrary, the mixed show choir, Accents, qualified for finals, performing a second time to place fourth out of the 13 mixed show choirs that competed. The groups’ first competition went well and they are hopeful for a prosperous season.
