Avon’s mixed show choir, Accents, was pronounced the Grand Champ at Mooresville’s Spotlight Invitational last Saturday, Feb. 23. The group competed against three other show choirs and beat the first runner up by just one point, earning first place for the first time in Accents history. They were not Avon’s only show choir to make history that night; unisex group, Attraction, earned second place at Mooresville’s Spotlight Invitational, placing the highest they have ever placed in Attraction history.
