Q: Which program were you awarded student of the month in?

A: The Area 31 Co-op program for computer tech support and networking.

Q: How did you feel when you were awarded student of the month?

A: I felt the same as I did before. I just did what was right and what needed to be done.

Q: Why did you decide to do Area 31?

A: Originally, I had a strong interest in computers. However, I have since lost that passion. Either way, I would say even if I didn’t enjoy it, that it was worth it for anyone who maybe undecided since it will help them to learn if it is for them or not.

Q: Do you plan to pursue the same career in the future?

A: No, but I do plan to continue working at the MSD of Wayne Township in the IT department for a while as the people there are really some of the best people I have truly ever met. I do plan on going to get a degree in Business at Kelly [School of Business] and eventually doing something in that field.

Q: What has been a highlight of Area 31?

A: The highlight of Area 31 has easily got to be the people I have met and the things I have learned. Doing Area 31 has for sure gotten me to not only come out of my shell more, but to also learn a lot about myself as a person.
