The Avon Dance Team, along with Avon High School’s dance classes and various other dance clinics throughout Avon, had “The Greatest Show” as they held their annual spring recital on May 16. Kicking off the show with “Happy” by Pharrell Williams, the National Honor Society for Dance Members danced around with Avon’s Life Skills students. Other highlights from the first half of the show include “Good Ship Lollipop” with Dance II-IV, “Symphony” with Lennon Mesarosh performing a solo and “Marry You” featuring Dance II. Before intermission, dance students were recognized for the National Honor Society for Dance Members. Some were inducted and some received their graduation cord. After intermission, the show moved on with “Gold,” featuring six of Avon’s dancers. The show then concluded with “Slow Down,” with a final farewell to the seniors who made up Avon Dance.
