Each fall, Homecoming is one of the most highly anticipated football games by high school students nationwide. This year on Fri., Sept. 20, Avon High School took to the student section in neon apparel, ready to cheer on their Avon Orioles against the opposing Franklin Central Flashes.
In the hours leading up to kickoff, students came together as one through the pep session and tailgate, Oriole Takeoff. Students also became involved on the field before the game began, including Korean Dance Club, known as KDC.
The game ended with the Orioles beating Franklin Central, 42-7.
