What club are you the president of?

I am the co-president of Christians in Action. But we like to say we are all co-presidents of the CIA.

How did you get into it?

Well, Sarah Deringer was the club president of AFHG and Lauren Klein was the president of Christians in Action, and my genius self was like “Guys, let’s mash the two clubs together” and now we just all co-run CIA.

What does the club do?

So, we’re a faith-based club, and we get together to talk about burning topics in faith, about how to deal with relationships or when you’re in a slump and how to know your worth should be defined not by society and stuff like that. We also share testimonies and get together to help uplift each other and spread the faith and bring others into the faith.

When is the call out meeting?

The club meeting is on Tuesday, Aug. 18.

Where is it?

It’s in Mrs. Aston’s room B212. She’s the club sponsor.

What do you do outside the club?

I’m a symphony cello, I’m also in NHS, and I work.

What plans do you have for the club this year?

I think to just grow it. We had a great turnout at the activity fair, so I hope our call out meeting will be a success and that we continue to grow the club and find some good people to pass it off to.
