Can you give me a brief description of the club?
D&D Club is a club for everyone. It is where you get together with a group of friends or a group of new people and go on silly little adventures that your Dungeon Master creates for you.
Does it cost anything to join the club?
Thankfully it does not. We have our club dues in with the T-shirt prices. So, if you buy a T-shirt price or T-shirt then you are supporting the club and create make it free for everyone.
What inspired you to become the president of your club?
My sister was the previous president, so that definitely was a huge inspiration for me. And you know it’s nice to lead something.
On average, how long are the meetings and when do you meet up?
The meetings go till 4:30, that is the latest that the school allows, and it is every Wednesday, so, pretty often.
On average, how many meetings could you say are in one year?
Since it is every Wednesday, that would be a lot. I think there’s 36 weeks in the school year, and we start later. So that would be around 30.
Could you give me a pitch on why you think people should join your club?
I think people should join our club because it is open to everyone; everyone is very accepting, everyone is very creative and you can basically just treat your own characters, create your own story, it’s very personalized and specific to you; it’s nice to have a group community of people who care for you and want to play games with you.
What grade are you in?
I’m in 12th grade. I’m a senior this year.
Can you give me a fun fact about yourself?
A fun fact about me is that I have a lineage in the D&D club. As stated previously, my sister was the previous president, and I was the treasurer 2 years before being the president today.
Do you have any fun hobbies outside of the club?
I like to crochet and every once in a while, I will volunteer at the animal shelter.
If you could describe yourself in 1 word like an adjective, how would you do so?
I think I would use the adjective creative.
