AVI (Avon Vocal Invitational) is an annual competition that is hosted by the Avon Choral Department. All Avon choir students in competing groups work to put together AVI and create a successful choir competition for all schools visiting in the first weekend of March.

Some of the best show choirs in the state attend AVI including Brownsburg, Castle, Lawrence Central, Plainfield, and Fishers.

This year’s AVI will be held on the 1st and 2nd of March.

Mar. 1 will be for small show choir groups to compete including Mooresville, Pendleton Heights, New Castle, and middle school groups from Brownsburg and Avon.

Mar. 2 holds all large schools and concert choir groups.

Tickets for full access to both days of AVI are 10 dollars for students and 15-20 dollars for the public. Full schedules and ticket information are available on the Avon choirs’ website. https://www.avonchoirs.com/avi.html
