On Saturday March 9th, Avon Interact Hosted their annual Prom Dress Sale. The sale provided formal and semi-formal dresses for students at affordable prices. Dresses were priced at $10, shoes at $2, and accessories at $1 each. All items, such as dresses, were donated from students, teachers, and Rotarians from the community.
Profits from the sale were donated to the nonprofit charity Sheltering Wings, which is targeted at helping survivors of domestic violence return to independent lives. Overall, 72 dresses were sold, and $720 was raised.
